s Armenian Environmental Front informs in the Facebook page, it is already the 5th
community of Armenia (Yeghegnadzor, Areni, Noyemberyan, Gladzor, Jermuk), where residents have represented a petition with their signatures on forbidding metal mining andmaking the community an eco-economic territory. The petition was unanimously approved in the special sessions of the councils of elders of the communities. The residents ask and demand from their council of elders and head of the community:

1. To make a decision, which will forbid and further exclude the implementation of
metal mining intelligence and particularly mine exploitation related work in the communities.
2. To make a complex plan on ecologically sustainable and green economy development of the communities involving the members of the community. For the
implementation of the plan the residents are ready to support RA government and
local self-governing bodies.
